New in 2025 at Camping De Berken: more comfort, adventure and convenience
At Camping De Berken, we are constantly evolving to make your vacation even more enjoyable. In 2025, we have once again introduced some great innovations that we are very proud of. From extra comfort on your pitch to new adventures for the children and a convenient way to discover the surroundings. We list all the new features for you.
E-bikes for hire
From this season, you can also hire electric bikes at the campsite in addition to the normal bikes. Ideal for anyone who wants to explore the beautiful surroundings of Drenthe in a little more comfort. Think of long rides through forests, over heathland and past picturesque villages without coming back tired.
Prices for renting e-bikes:
Per day: € 27.50
Per week: € 137,50
Reservations can easily be made at the reception.
Renewal of the natural playground for children
There is also something new for our youngest guests: a renewal of our natural playground with a new rotating water pump, in the spirit of De Berken. No brightly colored plastic equipment, but play with tree trunks, sand, water and stones. Here, children can climb, scramble, balance and let their imagination run wild - in the middle of nature.
The playground is designed so that children can be active and creative in a safe and adventurous way. Parents can relax and watch or join in.
Renovated private sanitary facilities
Our comfort pitches with private sanitary facilities have been renovated. The old geysers have been replaced by modern boilers. This means faster hot water, a stable temperature and even more comfort during your stay. A hot shower in your own sanitary unit rounds off your vacation feeling.
Pappa Pizza on Tuesday evening
A good meal is also part of a vacation. That's why a food truck is coming to the campsite every Tuesday evening from this season: Pappa Pizza. Delicious, handmade pizzas are freshly baked for you here. Homemade dough, fresh ingredients and a smile from the pizza chef - you're in for a treat!
