Recreation programme

In 2027, we will once again be organising a small-scale activity programme for children and families during the May and summer holidays.

May holidays 2027: 24 April to 2 May

Summer holidays 2027: 10 July to 20 August

There is no activity programme on Saturdays. During the May holidays, there is no activity programme on King’s Day.

The programme runs from Sunday morning to Friday afternoon. The activities are varied and reflect the atmosphere of our nature campsite: friendly, relaxed and never too busy. Activities include arts and crafts, den building, games in the forest, building sandcastles, dancing with Berkje, treasure hunts and nature activities such as Berkje’s Mini-beast Expedition.

There are also activities for the whole family to enjoy together, such as a trip to Drouwenerzand or a group activity in the immediate surroundings of the campsite.

We are a nature campsite, and this is reflected in our activity programme. Informal, plenty of time outdoors, with a focus on nature, play and having fun together. Everything is organised in a way that suits the peaceful and friendly atmosphere of Camping de Berken.
