As a real family campsite, it is of course a little busier on our site in the summer months because of the sociability that many families with children bring with them. In that respect, Camping de Berken is just right, as its location is in the middle of the Unesco Geopark de Hondsrug. In no time at all you can be in beautiful nature reserves such as Drouwenerzand, the stream and esdorps village landscape De Drentsche Aa, De Hunze Valley and the various state forests in the area.
Would you like to visit the hustle and bustle in the midst of all this peace and quiet? That is no problem either, because by car you can be in a beautiful city like Groningen in no time.
