Nowadays, everyone wants to use the internet on the campsite, but this is not yet possible at all campsites in the Netherlands. Camping de Berken is even a campsite with free wifi. Our entire campsite is equipped with wireless internet. This means that wherever you are on the campsite you can use the free wifi. With your own phone, tablet or laptop, you can relax in the sun and follow all the social media and news of the day.

Brasserie Flair
At the adjacent Brasserie Flair, you can enjoy a cup of coffee, lunch or dinner. In the evening, you can take away food there. Next to the reception you will find a shop where you can buy warm rolls and a newspaper every morning. The children will certainly enjoy themselves at our campsite: from games and playgrounds to the children's entertainment. Many fields also have their own playground, so that you can watch your children play from your tent. Unlucky and raining? That's no problem for the children. They can still have fun in the indoor playground.
While the children are having a great time at the campsite, you can go out and explore. Go walking or cycling in the beautiful nature of the culturally rich Drentse Hondsrug and enjoy the surroundings. Think of the unique Drouwenerzand nature reserve, the Drentsche Aa stream landscape, the Hunze Valley and the various state forests in the area. Of course, you can also go out with your children. There are various day attractions near our campsite, such as the Sprookjeshof Zuidlaren and the Drouwenerzand amusement park.
When you have discovered the surroundings and have returned to your camping pitch, you can take out your phone or tablet at our campsite with free wifi. Many of our campsite guests experience this as a great advantage of our campsite and it certainly is.

Visited Camping de Berken this summer and it was excellent! Friendly and helpful staff, everything neat, clean and well-maintained. Equipped with all conveniences for young and old such as: excellent Wifi, active entertainment programme for children, spacious facilities that are easily accessible for the elderly and no noise at night. In addition, the natural environment around the campsite is very beautiful and highly recommended. We will definitely come again next year!
Lovely campsite with neat facilities and nice play areas for children, if you walk into the woods behind the campsite you come to a beautiful piece of nature with Drouwenerzand a little further on.
At the adjacent Brasserie Flair, you can have a coffee, lunch or dinner. In the evening, you can enjoy a delicious meal there. Next to the reception, you will find a shop where you can buy your newspaper and forgotten groceries every morning. In the living room, you can pick up your morning bread (on order) from the local bakery. Children are sure to have fun on our campsite: from games and playgrounds to children's entertainment. Many pitches also have their own playground, so you can watch your children play from your tent. Unlucky and is it raining during your stay? No problem for the children! They can still have fun in the indoor playground.
